Stelzel, Otelia (12 December 1885-8 February 1981)

DORCHESTER-- Miss Otelia Stelzel, 95, formerly of Dorchester, died Sunday at Sacred Heart Hospital, Tomahawk. She had been residing at Golden Age Nursing Home, Tomahawk.

The funeral will be Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, the Rev. James F. Schaefer officiating. Burial will be in Dorchester Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at Maurina Funeral Home.

Miss Stelzel was born December 12, 1885 in Ironwood, Michigan. She attended town of Holton schools and worked as a practical nurse for elderly people. She resided with the Pearl Vorland family in Colby many years and then lived with her sister, Harriet Wanke, in Stevens Point eight years. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and its Rosary Altar Society.

Her sister, Harriet, Tomahawk, survives. Five brothers and one sister are deceased.
