Morrow, James Walter (6 October 1891-17 February 1981)

COLBY--Services for James Walter Morrow will be Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church. The Rev. Robin O. Fink will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at Rux/Lulloff Funeral Home.

Mr. Morrow, 89, formerly of 203 S. Third, Colby, died Tuesday morning at Marshfield Convalescent Center.

Born October 6, 1891, Mr. Morrow married Emma Brandt August 15, 1923 in Neillsville. They farmed at Withee, Loyal and at Colby. before he retired, he worked for 14 years at the Colby Cheese Box Factory.

The Morrows observed their golden wedding anniversary in August 1973. She died March 4, 1979.

A member of Zion Luttheran Church, he is survived by one son, Delbert Morrow, Marshfield; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Carl of Abbotsford and Roy of California. One son, Donald "Bud" died July 23, 1980. Two daughters died shortly after birth.
