Vold, Shirley (Marriage - ? 1976)
In a candlelight service at the Como Community Church, Como, Rodger Williams
took as his bride Shirley Vold, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dornacher of
Burlington. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams, Granton.
The Rev. Wallace Christenson officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony attended by
members of the immediate families. A reception was held at the Sterling Worth
Motor Lodge.
Attending the couple were the bride’s sister-in-law, Linda Dornacher, and the
groom’s brother-in-law, Nathan Vanderberg.
The bride chose a long, lade trimmed gown of cream-colored sheer accented with a
corsage of red roses and baby’s breath.
The new Mrs. Williams is employed with the county department of social services
in Elkhorn. Her husband is employed as service manager of an Elkhorn motor
company. They will live in Williams Bay.
