Hilber, Mr./Mrs. Alex (Silver – 21 AUG 1971)

Mr. and Mrs. Alex Hilber of Colby celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last Saturday.

The couple, who were married by the late Rev. Aloysius Stenis, an uncle to Mrs. Hilber, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Edgar on August 21, 1946, held a lawn party for relatives and friends at their Colby residence.

Mrs. Math Stenis of Stratford, Mrs. Hilber’s grandmother, was the guest of honor.

The Hilbers are parents of 10 children. Eight were present for the celebration. They are: Alex Jr., Marshfield; Mrs. Peter (Barbara) Davel, Milwaukee; Thomas, Linda, Diane, Lori, Tammy and Doug, all at home. Mrs. Mark (Geralyn) Marcott of Hawaii, and Duane Hilber, stationed with the Air Force in Mississippi were unable to attend.

All of the attendants for the wedding, except one, were present for the celebration.

Relatives and friends attended from Colby, Abbotsford, Stratford, Edgar, Marathon, Wausau, Dorchester, Milwaukee, Marshfield, Fort Atkinson and Kenosha.
