Sternitzky, Raymond (18 November 1896-3 April 1981)

GRANTON-- Raymond Sternitzky, 84, Route !, a lifelong town of Lynn resident, died Friday at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.

The funeral will be Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church, the Rev. Horst W. Augustin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, where the Loyal American Legion Post will conduct military rites at the grave.

Pallbearers will be Louis Helm, Edwin and Erwin Sternitzky, Harvey Johnson, Lloyd Ure and Albert Hasz.

Friends may call at Gilbertson Funeral Home.

Mr. Sternitzky was born November 18, 1896 in the town of Lynn and educated there. On April 4, 1926 at Granton, he and Leona Gotter were married. He was a veteran of World War I and farmed in the town of Lynn.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Vernon of Neillsville and Wayne of Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond (June) Kaddatz of Wisconsin Rapids; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Leo of Granton; and two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Lula) Ure of Granton and Mrs. Frieda Johnson of Chili.

Three brothers, one sister and one grandson are deceased.
