Youmans, Jay (14 JUL 1889 – 9 SEP 1971)
Masonic funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Lulloff Funeral Home,
Colby, for Jay J. Youmans, 82, who died last Thursday in Alabasta, Alabama.
He was born in Plover July 14, 1889.
He worked for the Soo Line Railroad Company and was depot agent at Colby from
1932 until retirement in 1960. He lived in Colby until about one and one-half
years ago, when he moved to live with a daughter in Alabama.
Mr. Youmans was a 32nd degree Mason.
Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Harold (Ann) Tisdale, Birmingham, Alabama, and
a son Patrick, San Francisco, five grandchildren and three sisters.
