Leonard, Leslie Ann (11 SEP 1971)

Miss Leslie Ann Leonard and Richard James Foster were united in marriage September 11, 1971, at a 6 p.m. candlelight ceremony at the Sacred Heart Chapel in Eau Claire. The Rev. Father Robert McKillip of the Eau Claire campus cooperative ministry performed the rites for the couple.

The new Mrs. Foster is the daughter of Richard Leonard of Holden, Massachusetts, and the late Mrs. Leonard. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcellus Foster of Route 1, Colby.

The bride was attended by Mary Ann Thanos, Milwaukee. Andrew John Thanos served the groom as best man. Peter Weddig, Goodhue, Minnesota, and Dennis Foster, brother of the groom escorted guests to their seats.

Following the ceremony, a wedding dinner was held at the Black Steer in eau Claire.

The groom is a graduate of Colby High School and the University of Wisconsin. The bride is a graduate of the Northfield School for Girls, East Northfield, Massachusetts, and the University of Wisconsin.

The couple will reside at 2920 Blakeley Avenue, Eau Claire.
