Matthews, Carole Jo (18 SEP 1971)
Miss Carole Jo Matthews, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Matthews R., Medford,
became the bride of Robert Wittkamp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wittkamp,
Abbotsford, September 18, 1971, at Zion Lutheran church, Stetsonville, with the
Rev. Willert Frank Officiating.
The bride wore a gown of ancient ivory organza over satin and lace, and carried
a bouquet of red roses.
Her matron of honor, Mrs. George Mueller, Abbotsford, and the bridesmaids, Miss
Linda Meiehlbauer and Miss Diane Heinz, Medford, wore gowns of burgundy velvet
and ivory chiffon, each carried two pink roses.
The groom chose Charles Jantsch, Athens, as best man, George Matthews Jr.,
Medford and Calvin Christensen, Milwaukee, as groomsmen.
The bridal dinner was served at Zion Lutheran Church following the ceremony. The
reception and open house were held at the park.
The bride is a 1971 graduate of Medford High School and was employed by
Dutchland Dairy, Milwaukee. The groom is a 1971 graduate of North Central
Technical Institute and is employed as a welder at the Harnischefher
Corporation, Milwaukee.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wittkamp will reside at 30014 W. Pierce Street, Milwaukee.
