Loos, Mr. / Mrs. Walter (Gold – 17 SEP 1971)

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Loos, Colby, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, September 19, 1971.

Open house was held at the United Church of Christ parlor, Colby.

Walter Loos and Nina Ann Riemer were united in marriage sept 17, 1921 at the Salem Lutheran Church, Town of Hamburg. Mr. and Mrs. Loos Lived in the Town of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.) all their married life.

They had three daughters, Mrs. Hebert (Marcella) Sauer, Colby; Mrs. Merton (Lorraine) Morrow, Virginia Beach, Virginia; Mrs. Edward (Emilie) Kappel, Colby; and two sons, Darrel and Dean, Colby. The Loos’ have thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Ervin Fisher, sister of Mr. Loos; Mr. Ervin Riemer, Athens, borhter of Mrs. Loos, and Mr. Ed Voelker, Marshfield, cousin of Mr. Loos, attended the original marriage and were present for the 50th celebration.
