Miller, Walter (29 OCT 1907 – 27 SEP 1971)
Walter Miller, 63, died Monday at St. Mary’s Burn Center at Milwaukee, where he
had been a patient since September 20, 1971. He was flown there after an
explosion at his home in Chippewa Falls.
Services will be held Friday, October 1 at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby at
2 p.m., with Rev. Arthur Rasch officiating. Burial will be in the Green Grove
Cemetery.
Friends may pay their last respects at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby,
beginning Thursday at 1 p.m.
Mr. Miller was born October 29, 1907 in the Town of Green Grove. He was married
to Marion Adams on June 22, 1943, at Owen. She preceded him in death on June 17,
1962.
The deceased is survived by a brother, Ted Miller of Curtiss. Also, he is
survived by three nieces, Mrs. James Sowieja, Owen, Mrs. Arlyn Decker,
Germantown, and Miss Caroline Miller, Curtiss.

Miller, Walter (29 OCT 1907 – 27 SEP 1971)
Funeral services were held at the Lulloff Funeral Home for Walter Miller on
October 1, 1971 at 2 p.m., who passed away on September 27, 1971 at Milwaukee
Burn Center from burns resulting from a gas explosion in his home in Chippewa on
September 20.
Burial took place in the Green Grove Cemetery. Rev. Arthur Rasch officiated.
Pallbearers were Emil Untiedt, Harry Untiedt, Edward Raatz, Albert Novak, John
Back, and Charles Reifenauer.
He is survived by a brother, Red of Curtiss, and four sisters, Mrs. James
Sowieja, Mrs. Arlyn Decker, Miss Carolyn Miller, and Mrs. Myron Buss.
Relatives and friends from Milwaukee, Germantown, Chippewa, Cadott, Spencer,
Greenwood, Withee, Medford, Unity, Colby, Loyal, Owen, Neillsville and Curtiss
attended the service.
