Humke, Harvey (Promotion - 1976)
Harvey Humke, a former Greenwood resident and a principal in the Green Bay
Public School system for the past 17 years, has been named assistant
superintendent in charge of business affairs. Superintendent Merrill Grant, who
recommended Humke for the position, said he would begin his new duties shortly
after the school year. Currently he is principal of Edison Junior High, the
largest junior high school in the state, with an enrollment of 1,900 students.
In his new position, Humke will have overall charge of the fiscal management of
the district.
Harvey and his wife, the former Betty (Kenyon) Humke have two daughters, Julie
and Jean. He is the son of George Humke of Greenwood.
