Bielen, Susan Jean (Marriage – 26 June 1976)
Miss Susan Jean Bielen and Stephen Andrew Wolf exchanged marriage vows in a 2
p.m. ceremony solemnized Satruday, June 26, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church,
Loyal, by the Rev. Chester Osowski. A reception was held later at the Loyal
American Legion Hall.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Alois J. Bielen, Rt. 1 Loyal, and Mr. and
Mrs. Mathias F. Wold, Chili.
The bride’s gown of white Dacron organza with chapel train was styled with a
molded bodice featuring a jewel neckline of venise lace and dimensional venise
flowers, a round, sheer yoke circled with venise lace and an organza ruffle, and
long, sheer, tapered sleeves. The waistline was trimmed with a lace-covered belt
ending in long back streamers, and the deep flounce of an A-line skirt was
defined with matching lace. A pearled venise cap centered with organza bows
secured her lace-edged veil. Orange roses and baby’s breath formed the teardrop
shape bouquet carried by Miss Bielen as she was presented in marriage by her
father.
Miss Bernadette Schmidt, Loyal, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Mrs.
Alice Winkel, Oshkosh, and Miss Lois Bielen, Loyal. Their gowns of orange dotted
voile with white venise lace accents were designed with detachable cape-sleeves.
White picture hats and oval bouquets of white daisies and orange roses completed
their costumes.
Attending the groom were Richard Wolf, Omro, as bestman and James Quelle, Boyd,
and James Pachniak, Edgar, as groomsmen. David Bielen, Kenosha, and Ralph Wolf,
Wisconsin Rapids, served as ushers.
Mathew Riesselmann, Kenosha, was the ringbearer and Sheila Winkel, Oshkosh, the
flower girl. She was dressed identically to the bridal attendants.
Sharon Schoonover and Diane Anderegg sang. Gordy Denk was the guitarist and jodi
Schoonover the organist.
The bride was honored at a prenuptial shower given June 5 by her attendants.
The new Mrs. Wolf graduated from Loyal High School in 1975 and is employed in
Spencer. Her husband a 1973 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School, works for
a shoe manufacturing firm in Marshfield.
They will live at 109-A E. Franklin in Marshfield after returning from a wedding
trip to the southern part of the state.
