Hubing, Kathy (Marriage – 19 June 1976)
Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Madison was the scene of the June 19 exchange
of marriage vows between Kathy Hubing and George Senteney, The Rev. Stephen
Smith officiated at the 12:45 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Mrs. Ethel
Hubing of Neillsville and the late Anton Hubing, and the son of Mr. and Mrs.
George Senteney, Warrens.
The bride appeared in a gown of sheer white organza adorned with embroidered
white flowers on the bodice and complimented by a Camelot-style veil. She
carried a French-style bouquet of yellow roses and white baby’s breath as she
was presented in marriage by her brother, John Hubing.
Doris Burr, Madison, was the bride’s honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Pat Hake
and Gwen Thompson, also of Madison. They wore apricot A-line gowns and held
French-style bouquets of yellow daisies and white baby’s breath.
The groom was attended by Nick Nickols, Madison, as bestman and be Steve
Chandler, Madison, and Claire Sweet, Tomah, as groomsmen. Serving as ushers were
Mark Conrad and John Gregorich.
The wedding party was completed by Missy Gregorich as flower girl and Jon Ruder
as ring bearer.
The newlyweds will live at 530 N. Eau Claire in Madison, where she is employed
in the University hematology department and he is presently a law student at the
university. The groom is employed as administrative assistant to Norm Andersen,
speaker of the assembly.
