Marg Family (Reunion – 18 July 1976)

The biennial Marg family reunion was held Sunday Afternoon, July 18, at the American Legion Hall in Neillsville. The event, attended by approximately 100, was hosted by the daughters and sons-in-laws of Albert and Norma Marg.

Attending from the furthest distance was Shirley Jean Fischer of Tampa, Fl. Others from out of state came from Waukon, Ia.

Prizes for bicentennial costumes were awarded to Mrs. Roger (Caroline Marg) Helm and her daughters of Granton.

A potluck meal was served, and bingo was played.

Marg Family (Reunion – 18 July 1976)

A Marg family reunion was held at the Neillsville American Legion Hall on Sunday, July 18. Children of the late August and Bertha Marg and their families attended. A potluck dinner was served, and the afternoon was spent playing bingo and cards and in visiting. A prize for best bicentennial costumes was awarded to Caroline Helm and daughters, and door prizes went to Karren Plunkett and Caroline Helm.

The committee for the reunion consisted of Elaine and Argyle Minge of Neillsville, John and Berry Jennings of Waukon, Ia., and Lavern and Deloris Zschernitz and Ronald and Shirley Holverson, all of Stanley. Also assisting were Melvin and Virginia Marg, Neillsville.
