Anderson, Timothy J. (23 JUL 1963 – 16 MAY 2020)
Timothy J. Anderson, age 56, of Thorp, WI, passed away at Sacred Heart Hospital
in Eau Claire, WI on Saturday, May 16, 2020. A graveside service will be held at
11 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at East Thorp Cemetery with Rev. Baskaran
Sandhiyagu officiating, followed by a Celebration of Tim's Life at the Northside
Community Park in Thorp, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Timothy James Anderson was born on July 23, 1963 in Stanley, Wisconsin, to James
F. and Rose M. (Liedl) Anderson. He was raised and received his education in
Stanley, graduating from Stanly High School in 1981. After high school, Tim went
to work at Halterman’s in Stanley, before his marriage to Theresa L. Taylor on
October 24, 1987, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Stanley. He later worked as
an automotive Mechanic for Courtesy Ford in Thorp, then for the past 26+ years
at All Automotive, also in Thorp. Tim was a volunteer fireman for the Thorp Fire
Department for many years, and would do anything for anyone, no matter what day
or what time.
He had many interests, but especially loved spending time with his children and
grandchildren, tinkering on cars, cruising around town, old country western
movies, classic country & polka music, shooting pool, truck & tractor pulls,
socializing with friends, camping and playing cards.
Tim will be dearly missed by his two daughters: Amanda Anderson (Jeff
Kobylarczyk) of Thorp, Samantha (Eric) Van Calcar of Thorp; six grandchildren:
Calli Martin, Braxtin, Emrik and Fintyn Nowobielski, and Aliyah and Gannon Van
Calcar; two brothers: Dave (Debbie) Anderson of Cadott, Lorry Anderson of
Colfax; four sisters: Pam (Jeff) Thompson, Peggy (Jerry) Ciokiewicz, Cheryl
(Rick) LaMarche, and Cyndi (Don "Buzzy") Burzynski, all of Stanley; many nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Joshua J. Anderson, on
December 23, 2009; one brother, James "Tubby" Anderson, Jr.; and one sister,
Patricia LaMarche.
