Raine, Ellen (Marriage - 17 July 1976)
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Artac, who were married July 17 at Holy Family Catholic
Church, Willard, by the Rev. John Heagle, are making their home on Rt. 1
Willard.
The former Miss Ellen Raine, the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darrel
Raine, Rt. ! Neillsville. She was present in marriage by her father. Mr. and
Mrs. Ludwig Artac, Rt. 1, Willard at the groom’s parents.
A fingertip illusion veil held by a lace cap headpiece framed the bride’s gown
of woven polyester fashioned with a princess-seamed skirt attached to a bodice
featuring long lace sleeves gathered to loop and button-closed cuffs. Her
flowers were yellow roses and rosebuds with white carnations.
Miss Emile Ranie was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Pat Artac, Eau
Claire, and Mrs. Eunice Artac, Greenwood. Their high-waist mint green crepe
gowns styled with princess skirt seaming and long, cuffed sleeves, were
complimented by bouquets of yellow roses and rosebuds with white carnations.
Yellow roses and green ribbons adorned their hair.
Serving as bestman was Alan Debevec, Willard. Lawrence Artac, Greenwood, and
Joel Raine acted as groomsmen. Tim Kren and john Trunkel, Jr., shared ushering
duties.
Miss Pam Suda was the organist and Laura Lesar, the vocalist.
A reception was held at the parish center.
The bride was honored at prenuptial showers given by Cookie Raines at her home
in Neillsville and by Frieda Adams, Pat Artac and Doris Berzinski in Willard.
The new Mrs. Artac is a graduate of Neillsville High School. Her husband
graduated from Greenwood High School and in engaged in farming. They planned a
wedding trip to the west coast.
