Prock, Harold M. (5 March 1915 – 9 August 1976)

Harold M. Prock, 61, of Neillsville, succumbed Monday, August 9, at his home to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a rare disease better known as “Lou Gehrig’s disease.” Funeral services are to be held this (Thursday) morning at 10 a.m. from St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Henseler officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

The body of Harold Prock was to lie in state from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home, where a Knights of Columbus rosary was to be recited at 7:30 p.m. and a Christian wake service was scheduled for 8 p.m.

Born March 5, 1915, in the Town of Weston to Linus and Agnes Quast Prock, he attended the Globe Grade School and Neillsville High School.
