Buss, Oscar (3 February 1911 - 6 July 1981)

OWEN -- Oscar Buss, 70, of Owen, died today at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Service will be Wednesday at Maurine Funeral Home in Owen with the Rev. Margaret Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee.

Mr. Buss was born February 3, 1911 in the town of Green Grove. He married Esther Hautamaki on April 1, 1939 in Owen. He had worked at a lumber camp in northern Michigan and also did road construction in Wisconsin.

He moved to Owen where he worked at Foremost Foods, at the Post Co., and most recently at the Clark County Health Care Center.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Janet) Holmes of Lake Placid, Florida, Mrs. Dale (Carol) Raatz of Unity, and Mrs. Gary (Diane) Smith of Owen; one son, Robert Buss of Medford; one brother, Harry Buss of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Rosie) Kopp of Curtiss, and Mrs. Paul (Esther) Lindekugel of Lake Ellen, Wisconsin; and eight grandchildren.

He was predeceased by one brother and two sisters.
