Schopfer, Arnold J. (18 December 1914 - 18 June 1981)

OWEN -- Arnold J. Schopfer, 66, of Cicero, Illinois, died June 18 in Chicago . He was the brother of Harold Schopfer of Owen.

Services were June 20 at the Sourek Funeral Home, Cicero and burial followed at Peru, Illinois.

Mr. Schopfer was born December 18, 1914 in Minneapolis and moved to rural Owen as a small child. He attended Elmhurst school. He worked at Redville Cheese Factory and moved to Chicago where he did mechanic work.

Besides his brother here, he is survived by his wife, Blanche Schopfer; three sisters, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Dunkel, Medford, Mrs. Vernon (Evelyn) Jorstad, Appleton, and Mrs. Roy (Lorraine) Nimerosky, South Bend, Indiana.

He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
