Winton, Harriet "Hattie" (3 September 1917 - 15 July 1978)
NEILLSVILLE -- Harriet "Hattie" Winton, 60, a former Neillsville resident, died
Saturday at Shawano Community Hospital.
Services were today at Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville. Burial was in
Neillsville Cemetery. The Rev. Lloyd Brotherton officiated.
She was born September 3, 1917 in Wisconsin and lived most of her life in the
Neillsville area. She had resided in Evergreen Nursing Home in Shawano for 1 1/2
years.
There are no survivors.
***Note: She is buried with John and Henry Pannenbecker. Henry is named as her
father but his wife Bernita Winton died in 1913. John would be considered an
uncle.

Winton, Harriet (Hattie) (13 September 1917 – 15 July 1978)
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Georgas-Gesche Funeral
Home, Neillsville, for Harriet (Hattie) Winton, 60, who passed away July 15.
Hattie lived most of her life in the Neillsville area. At the time of her death,
she was a resident of the Evergreen Nursing Home in Shawano and had been so for
18 months. She was born September 13, 1917, to Mr. and Mrs. Henry R.
Pannenbecker. She left no survivors.
Officiating at the funeral services was the Rev. Lloyd Brotherton. Burial was
made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
(Added Note: Hattie was a friend of my mother, Luella Mohr, and relative of the
Winton, Winter families of Neillsville. And a relative of my mother’s Kopp
family. Dmk)

Funeral services were held July 17, for Harriett (Hattie) Winton, 60, who passed
away two days earlier. The 1:30 p.m. services from the Georgas-Gesche Funeral
Home, Neillsville, were officiated by Lloyd Brotherton of Argentina. Burial was
made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Offering the hymns of “Sweet, Sweet Release,” “When Day Is Ended” and “Only
Remembered” were George, Karen, Ruth and Diane Topinka of Stratford, accompanied
by Mrs. Harold Brockhaus of Abbotsford. Pallbearers were Robert Beyer, Donald
Berthold, William Dollase, Lloyd Sackett, Ronald Shaw and Raymond Kopp.
Attending the services were Mr./Mrs. Robert H. Beyer, Mr./Mrs. Robert J. Beyer,
Freida Schmidt and Mr./Mrs. Dale Voight, of Shawano; Mr./Mrs. Donald Berthold,
