Koplitz, Mr./Mrs. Harold (Silver – 29 AUG 1965)
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Koplitz of route 1, Curtiss, celebrated their Silver Wedding
Anniversary Sunday, August 29, 1965, at their home. Many friends from the
neighborhood and relatives attended the open house held in the afternoon from 2
to 5 o’clock. Among them were the Rev. and Mrs. Ralph Claybough of Nekoosa,
formerly of Owen, and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Tieman of Owen, the attendants at their
wedding.
Among the highlights of the day was a telephone calle in the morning from a
sister of Mrs. Koplitz in Watseka, Illinois, and one in the afternoon from Dr.
Eugene Koplitz, Greely Colorado, a brother of Mr. Koplitz.
The former Edna Bogue and Harold Koplitz were married August 29, 1940 in the
Little Brown Church in the Vale at Nashua, Iowa. After their married they lived
on farms at Stanley, Withee, and Owen, and for the past five years have been on
