Worden, Marcia (1 February 1931 - 23 July 1981)

GREENWOOD - Mrs. Warren Worden, of 118 Cross St., Oconto, died Thursday at Bellin Hospice after a long illness. She was the former Marcia Straughan of Greenwood.

Mrs. Worden was born February 1, 1931 in Akron, Ohio, and was married to the Rev. Warren Worden on October 22, 1948 in Owen. She served with her husband in the ministry at Oconto Gospel Chapel where she was a member.

Survivors include her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira L. Straughan of Cocoa, Florida; two daughters, Mrs. Rick (Cindy) Meyers of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Sharee Worden at home; two sons, Dennis and Dr. Don Worden, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers, Stanley of Merritt Island, Florida; and four grandchildren.

Services will Saturday at Oconto Gospel Chapel with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. David Manske, pastor, the Rev. Vernon E. Gowdy and the Rev. Garfield Powell. A missionary memorial fund has been established. Friends may call at Gallagher-Pinkart Funeral Home, Oconto.
