Kleparski, Andrew (14 NOV 1884 – 10 SEP 1965)
Funeral services for Andrew Kleparski, route 2, Athens, were held Tuesday,
September 14, 1965 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Milan. The Rev. Charles
Schumacher officiated, and burial was made in the Milan Cemetery. Funeral
arrangements were attended to by the Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford.
Mr. Kleparski died at 10:20 p.m. Friday, September 10, 1965 at his home in the
town of Johnson (Marathon Co., Wis.). He was 80 years old.
Andrew Kleparski was born in Poland on November 14, 1884, and came to the United
States in 1905. He was married in Chicago in 1910 to the former Sophie Brosz. In
1919 they moved to the town of Holway (Marathon Co.), where he farmed until
1948. They then moved to the farm south of Milan, where Mrs. Kleparski died in
1960.
Surviving are six sons, Ted Kleparski, Milan, George, Chicago, and Edward,
Joseph, Andrew and John, all of Rockford, Illinois; three daughters, Anne
Kleparski, Chicago, Mrs. Donald (Helen) Fierke, Stetsonville, and Mrs. Tony
(Alice) Beck, Colby; and 28 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter.
