Rex, Pauline (14 MAR 1877 – 30 SEP 1965)
Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Rex, Colby, were held Saturday, October 2,
1965 at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby.
Mrs. Rex died early Thursday morning at the Havenet Nursing Home, Owen, at the
age of 88. The Rev. Leroy Urman officiated at the services, and burial was made
at Hustisford, Wisconsin. Funeral arrangements were made by the Lulloff Funeral
Home, Colby.
Pallbearers were Alfred Johnson, Arnold Edblom, Ansel Messer, Merlin Justman,
Henry Kuesel and Martin Verkiln.
Mrs. Rex was born Pauline Justman March 14, 1877, in the town of Herman, Dodge
County, Wisconsin. She was married to Ferdinand Rex August 14, 1898. The couple
lived near Hustisford until 1922, when they moved to the town of Unity (Clark
Co.). In 1944 they moved to Colby.
Mrs. Rex was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and the parish Ladies Aid and
Sewing Circle.
Mrs. Rex died in 1944.
Surviving are one son, Reuben Rex of Riplinger, three grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a
daughter, two brothers and three sisters.
