Kieser, Mr. and Mrs. G. G. (40th – 29 SEP 1965)
Mr. and Mrs. G.G. Kieser of Abbotsford, who 40th wedding anniversary was
September 29, 1965, were honored at a surprise celebration given them by their
children on Sunday afternoon at the city hall at Abbotsford. The honored guests
were presented with a stereo radio and record player.
The Kiesers have made their home for more than 30 years in Abbotsford, where Mr.
Kieser is a barber.
Those present for the celebration were Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Kieser and son of
Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kieser and five children of Abbotsford; Mr. and
Mrs. Floyd Hood and son of Melrose; Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Brown and son of Mason
City, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Bartz and four sons of Merrill; Mr. and Mrs.
Dennis Kieser of Thorp; Mr. and Mrs. Warren Puhl of Menomonie, and Miss Marjorie
Kieser of Mondovi.
Also present were Rev. and Mrs. F.H. Sprengler of Dorchester and Knute Gering of
Eleva.
The Rev. and Mrs. Quentin Quade (Dorothy Kieser) were the only members of the
family not present for the celebration.
