Amelia A. Geisler, May 17, 1881 – Dec 27, 1974
Mrs. Ed. Geisler, 93, of Cornell, a former Greenwood resident, died at 2:30 a.m., December 27, in her sleep, at the Care Center in Thorp.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Cornell funeral home. Burial was made in the Cornell cemetery
Mrs. Geisler, the former Amelia A. Decker, daughter of Frederick and Marie Decker, was born May 17, 1881, in the Town of Warner, northwest of Greenwood. She was married to Ed Geisler, July 3, 1912, in the Town of Warner, where they farmed for 37 years.
In 1949 they moved to Cornell, where they lived until May, 1974, when they moved to the Thorp Care Center.
Surviving are her husband and a number of nieces and nephews.
