Kunze, Sophie (15 JAN 1883 - 23 SEP 1965)

Sophie Kunze, Prior Lake, Minnesota, a longtime resident of Colby, died Thursday, September 23, 1965 at the age of 82. Funeral services were held the following Monday at Prior Lake and interment was at the Spring Lake Cemetery.

The former Sophie Spann was born in the town of Colby January 15, 1883. She married William Kunze, who preceded her in death in 1962, on February 28, 1916, and lived in the town of Hull until 1957, when they moved to Prior Lake.

Surviving are one son, Clarence, Prior Lake; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Dena Krueger, Colby, and one brother, August Spann, Colby.
