Lewin, Gertrude (28 August 1890 - 9 June 1975)

Services will be Wednesday at the Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle for Mrs. Gertrude Lewin, 84, Argyle and formerly of Marshfield. Mrs. Lewin died Monday at Memorial Hospital in Darlington following a brief illness.

Burial will be in Grace Lutheran Church Cemetery, rual Marshfield (Nasonville). Friends may call at the Erickson Funeral Home.

The former Gertude Wojahn was born August 28, 1890, in Oak Lawn, Illinois. She was married to Herman A. Lewin on May 14, 1910, at Oak Lawn. He died in 1966.

In 1916, the couple moved to the Marshfield area, living here until moving to the Atrgyle area in 1954.

Surviving are to daughters, Mrs. Carl (Lucille) Erfman, Franklin, and Mrs. John (Alice) Barten, Appleton; a son, John, Darlington; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were two sisters and a brother.

She was a member of the Argyle Lutheran Church.
