Mohr, Michael (February Junior Kiwanian - 2000)

Mike Mohr, a senior at Neillsville High School was named Junior Kiwanian for the month of February. He was introduced to club members by Kiwanian Larry Osegard at a regular Monday night club meeting. Mike’s parents are Allen and Debra Mohr of rural Neillsville.

The Junior Kiwanian program is a long time project of the Neillsville Kiwanis Club. An outstanding senior student is selected to join the club for a month. To attend regular club meetings and participate in club projects. The goal is to acquaint the student with the purpose of a service club.

Mike is an outstanding student who is ranked fifth in his class. He received an Academic Letter and a Who’s Who award in 1999. He attended Badger Boy’s State last year. He has been a member of the National Honor Society. He also been a Big Buddy. He has been an altar at St. Mary’s Catholic Church during high school; and is presently employed at Bob & Caryl’s IGA store.

Kiwanis welcomes Mike Mohr as Junior Kiwanian for the month of February.
