Winter, Beatrice Audrey (20 March 1934 – 5 June 2001)

Beatrice Winter, age 67, of Neillsville died Tuesday, June 5, at the Memorial Nursing Home in Neillsville.

Beatrice Audrey Winter was born on March 20, 1934 in Curtiss, the daughter of August and Frieda (Zastrow) Bailke. She graduated from the Abbotsford high School.

She married Clifford Winter on April 22, 1955 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Greenwood. After their marriage they farmed for many years on the family farm just southwest of Neillsville about 6 miles.

Beatrice is survived by her sisters, Bernice Nacker of Colby, and Genevieve (Bernard) Frye of Montgomery City, MO., brother Marvin (Norma) Bailke of Colby, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995, her parents and nine brothers and sisters.

Funeral arrangements are pending with the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville.
