Annast, Peter N. (15 August 1896 - 26 August 1981)

ABBOTSFORD -- Peter N. Annast, 85, of 209 Sycamore St., Abbotsford, died today at Colby Nursing Home after several years of illness.

Service will be Friday at Gilles and Son Funeral Home, Athens. The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix, pastor of Christ United Church, Athens, will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Athens.

Mr. Annast was born August 15, 1896 in North Dakota. son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Annast. He married Loretta Schmidt November 20, 1943 in Chicago. She survives.

The couple was in the restaurant business in Chicago for 15 years. In 1947 they moved to the town of Halsey where they farmed for 23 years and then moved to Abbotsford where they had since lived.

Surviving besides his wife is a step-daughter, Carol Strelow of Abbotsford.
