Stoneburg, Ervin R. (4 March 1910 - 27 August 1981)

Ervin R. Stoneburg, 71, of 109 W. Ives St., died Thursday in the emergency Room at St. Joseph's Hospital. Death was due to cardiac arrest.

Services will be Sunday at Spencer United Methodist Church and burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield.The Rev. Charles W. Strong, pastor, will officiate. Visitation will be at Rembs/Kundinger Chapel, Marshfield. Mrs. Darrell Roder will be organist with Mrs. Lorrin Nall as soloist.

Pallbearers will be Fred Hahm, Duwayne Breheim, Norman Vanderhoof, Ronald Koepke, Robert Post and Robert Eckes.

Mr. Stoneburg was born March 4, 1910 in Greenwood, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel (Gertrude Howe) Stoneburg. He attended the Cameron School in the town of Spencer, Marathon County.

He married the former Louise L Hefty February 25, 1931 in Neillsville. From the age of nine until his marriage, he lived at Route 3, Marshfield. he lived there after his marriage where he farmed for 34 years.

He was employed with Trindal Feed company in Spencer for 15 years. He later worked for Marshfield Lumber and Supply Co. and for Thriftway Supply Co. until his retirement in 1975.

The couple moved to Marshfield in 1966 and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year.

He was a member of Spencer United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Glen (Lilas) Kleinschmidt of Chili; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Albert (Norma) Breheim of Spencer and Mrs. Willis (Edna) Klemme of Marshfield; and a stepbrother, Ralph Koepke of Chicago.

He was predeceased by his parents; three sisters, one stepbrother, one stepsister, and several half-brothers and half-sisters.
