St. Hedwig’s (New Windows - 2013)



The Hands Foundation has spent many years working on renovating the old St. Hedwig’s Church off of Gorman Avenue on the east end of Thorp, and it’s been a one-step-at-a-time process. From installing a new roof to fixing up many areas on the inside, the church has been slowly but very surely brought back to life. On Friday, November 8, a crew of workers ere on site once again—this time, installing 15’x54” windows along the side of the church. According to Scott Marrier of the Hands Foundation, the stained glass portions of the windows are set to arrive this spring.
