Garbisch, Randy Lee (13 June 1965 – 4 July 2020)
Randy Garbisch, age 55, of Granton, died Saturday, July 4, 2020 at his home on
Pelsdorf Avenue.
Randy Lee Garbisch was born on June 13, 1965 in Neillsville, the son of
Frederick “Fritz” and Kathleen “Kathy” (Jones) Garbisch. He was raised on the
family farm and attended Granton High School, where he was a two-time state
qualifier in wrestling. While in high school he worked at Cenex in Granton. He
graduated in 1983, and then attended farming short course in Madison. On
Valentine’s Day in 1993 he was united in marriage to Bobbi Jo Dahlke. They had a
daughter, Randi Jo. They later divorced. Randy worked at Tesmer’s Construction
and co-owned and co-operated R&R Roofing in Granton for over twenty years and
then worked on the family farm.
He loved being outdoors especially the trips out west to Colorado with his Dad
and friends. He also enjoyed making maple syrup with his family. Most of all
though, he loved his granddaughters. He loved walking with them to Roger’s
Grocery and referred to them as Little Pal Pal and Baby Pal Pal.
He is survived by a daughter, Randi Jo (Jameson Anderson) Garbisch of Granton,
step-daughter, Amanda (Craig) Genteman of Neillsville, two granddaughters,
Natalee and Lexi, a step-granddaughter, Dakota, his parents, Fritz and Kathy
Garbisch of Granton and three sisters, Brenda (Jim) Bredlau of Granton, Shelly
(Nathan) Larson of Lakeville, MN and Angela (Matt) Bigaouette of Carver, MN,
nieces and nephews, Joshua Bredlau, Brent (Allison) Bredlau, Ashley (Brandon)
Jensen, Brianna Larson, Cody Larson, Vanessa Rosales, Olivia Bigaouette,
Isabelle Bigaouette and Brayden Bigaouette. Randy is further survived by many
aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A Memorial Service for Randy will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 11, 2020
at the Zion Lutheran Church in Granton. Pastor Daniel Schoessow will officiate.
Music will be provided by Caroline Helm, organist. Visitation will be from 9:30
to 11:00 a.m., Saturday at the Zion Lutheran Church.
