Aschebrock, Paul H. (13 FEB 1921 – 19 MAY 2020)
Paul Henry Aschebrock was born February 13, 1921, and passed away on May 19,
2020, at Aurora Memorial Hospital in Burlington. Cremation interment will take
place at St. Paul Lutheran Church, North Green Grove Cemetery, Curtiss. Rev.
Donald Bruce presided on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 2 p.m.
Paul was born in Stratford to Henry and Anna (Wunrow) Aschebrock. He attended
schools in Stratford, Unity and Ashland.
He served in Asiatic-Pacific Theater during World War II with the 731st Engr.
Co. (Army).
He worked as a machinist and die-maker in Oak Creek, Flint, Minnesota and
Hanford. Washington
After retirement he was self-employed in home improvement, owned the Chapparel
Supper Club in Whittlesey and had a farm route and flea market in Abbotsford.
Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen, of 54 years. He is
survived by two sons: Paul Aschebrock Jr. and Gary (Kathleen) Aschebrock: two
step-daughters: Diane Krajenka and Gloria Okupniak: grandchildren,
great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; other family and friends and
very special friends, Peter and Jenny Weber.
