Nourse, Archie N. (25 November 1899 - 1 September 1981)

OWEN - Archie N. Nourse, 81, of Owen died Tuesday at Clark County Health Care Center. Services will be Saturday at United Church of Christ, Owen, with the Rev. Margaret Sheperd, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Withee. Friends may call Friday at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen.

Mr. Nourse was born November 25, 1899 in Omro. He was married to Ethel Breedlove November 25, 1952, in North Dakota. He farmed in the town of Longwood and moved to Owen in 1950 where he worked for Foremost Food Co. for 29 years.

He was a member of United Church of Christ, Owen.

Survivors are his wife; one son, William of Thorp; two daughters, Mrs. Nelda Lang of Marshfield and Mrs. Pete ( Bonnie) Mertens of Madison; four step-daughters, Mrs. Doris Schwaz of Wichita, Kansas, Mrs. Mildred Ahrens of Tampa, Florida, Mrs. Beverly Miller Birmingham, Alabama and Almeada Hatfield of Kansas City, Missouri; one stepson, Bill Breedlove of Kansas City, Missouri; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A grandson and a stepson are deceased.
