Baures, Firmin (17 April 1912 - 3 September 1981)

THORP - Firmin H. Baures, 69, of 103 E. Maple St., died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Services will be Monday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, with burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Thorp Funeral Home.

He was born April 17, 1912 in Menomonie. He married Marcella Kastel February 27, 1946 in Stanley. They moved to the town of Worden, rural Thorp, Where they farmed until retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Marcella, two sons, Gary of Thorp and Bill of Eau Claire; four daughters, Sandra Dickow of Wausau, Diane Mroczenski of Marathon, Darlene Abromczk of Thorp and Mary Miller of Greenwood; five grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Felker of Minneapolis and Marie Carlson of California; and two brothers, Edward of Thorp and Art of Fairchild.
