Lutheran Churches (Welcome New Pastor – 10 February 2013)
The Rev. Gerald Heinecke was installed as pastor of Epiphany Lutheran Church of
Stanley and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Thorp on Sunday February 10, 2013.
Rev. Heinecke, his wife Erica and two sons, Malachi and Zachary come to us from
Webster, Wisconsin where Pastor Heinecke served dual parishes in Webster and
Danbury. Rev. Heinecke was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, lived in Wisconsin
during his elementary school years, and spent his middle school years in and
graduated from high school in Wyoming. He received a B.S. in secondary and
middle level education from Concordia University of Seward, Nebraska and his
Master of Divinity in 2010 from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne.
Erica grew up in Michigan and graduated from Concordia University with a B.S. in
early childhood education. She plays the piano and organ and lists sewing and
quilting as her main hobbies. The family enjoys playing board games and cards,
camping, fishing, hunting, biking, and hiking. Pastor is an avid Packer fan and
also like to play softball, soccer, and basketball. Pastor Heinecke and his
family look forward to becoming involved in the two communities, making many new
friends, and serving the Lord in this new calling.
