Knuth, Betty L. (15 July 1927 -- 18 September 1981)

NEILLSVILLE -- Betty L. Knuth, 54, of Route 2 died today at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Services will be Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Augusta. Friends may call Sunday at Anderson Funeral Home, Augusta.

She was born July 15, 1927 in Eau Claire and attended Central High School there. Her first marriage was to Otto Tomm September 23, 1950. They lived in the town of Ludington, Eau Claire County. He died July 21, 1968.

She was married to Donald Knuth March 24, 1973. She worked for several years in a laundromat in Fall Creek and also in an Augusta nursing home.

She moved to Neillsville in September 1974 and had been in ill health the past six months.

Survivor include her husband; one son, Donald of Fall Creek; four daughters, Ruth Larson of Fall Creek, Mrs. Nancy Erdman of Augusta, Barbara Tomm of Eau Claire and Jane Tomm of Neillsville; 10 step-grandchildren; four grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; two brothers, Manley Johnson and Howard Johnson, both of Eau Claire and one sister, Adele Running of Eau Claire.
