Moose Hunt Alaska-sized
On a non-guided moose hunting trip to Northern Alaska last month, Dave Flynn, of Neillsville, got his bull moose, with an antler spread of 63 inches, but also got to see a lot of spectacular scenery, as well. He and two hunting partners rafted down one of the state’s rivers, camping overnight along its banks. Flynn shot the moose on Sept. 19th at a distance of about 120 yards near one of the campsites, using a 30.06 rifle. Contributed photo.
