Urquhart, Eleanor M. (7 June 1915 - 29 September 1981)
OWEN -- Eleanor M. Urquhart, 66, died Tuesday at Clark County Health Care Center
where she had lived for the past 12 years.
Services were today at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford, and burial was in Medford
Evergreen Cemetery II.
The former Eleanor Dolan was born June 7, 1915 in Park Falls to Mr. and Mrs.
Peter (Regina Halverson) Dolan. She moved to Abbotsford as a child and attended
area schools. On July 2, 1935 she was married to Leonard N. Urquhart in
Chariton, Iowa.
After marriage they lived in many different towns in northern Wisconsin due to
Mr. Urquhart's job as a game warden. She was a homemaker most of her life until
ill health.
Survivors include her husband in Park Falls; three sons, James of Zimmerman,
Minnesota, Kenneth of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota and Stephen of Blane,
Minnesota; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Mary) Mickel and Mrs. Thomas (Elizabeth)
Irwin, both of Chicago; seven grandchildren; three brothers, William of Kargo,
Florida, Clarence of Abbotsford and Leonard of Chippewa Falls; and three
sisters, Ruth Bobbe of Abbotsford, Mrs. William (Jane) Steffen of Palatine,
Illinois and Mrs. Wendall (Catherine) Labelle of San Marco, California.
One daughter, Kathaleen, is deceased.
