Spec. 4 Charles Meyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Meyer, Colby, Route 1, was
injured in the crash Friday evening of the Norrth Central Airlines plane in
Chicago. He is presently in a Chicago hospital with multiple cuts and bruises,
He was on his way back to Fort Belvoir, Virginia, where he was stationed
Note: On December 27, 1968, a North Central Airliner having left Mosinee CWA
airport crashed at O'Hare International Airport killing 27 as of December 30,
1968. Many military and others from the central Wisconsin area were on the
plane.
