Crotteau, Fred I. (4 December 1896 - 25 October 1981)
THORP -- Fred I Crotteau, 84, Route 3, Thorp, was found dead in his bed Sunday
morning.
Thorp Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born December 4, 1896 in Campia and received his education in Campia area
schools. He married the former Maria Belbeck in 1926.
He worked for Barron County for about 22 years until his retirement.
Surviving are two sons, Harold of Route 3, Thorp, and Lawrence of San Francisco;
a brother, Bill of Campia; two sisters, Exillia Kummet of Rice Lake and Valena
Borey of Manitowoc; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Rita in 1973; and two
brothers, Joe and Maurice.
