Untiedt, Harry (18 July 1903 - 6 February 1982)
Harry Untiedt, 78, Route 3, Tripoli, a former Colby resident, died Saturday in
the Tomahawk hospital.
Mr. Untiedt was a patrolman on County Trunk N. He also farmed in the town of
Green Grove and served on the Green Grove Board of Directors. He was a member of
Senior Citizens.
He was born July 18, 1903, in Woonsocket, South Dakota, son of Mr. and Mrs. John
Untiedt. He married Viola Leonhard in Colby on June 25, 1930. She survives.
Other survivors include four sons, John, Alexandria, Virginia, Harry, Spring
Grove, Illinois, Jerome, Barrington, Illinois and Lynn, Schaumburg, Illinois;
eight daughters, Mrs. Clem (Evelyn) Arend, Greendale, Mrs. Tom (Joan)
Petrykowski, Racine, Mrs. Donald (Donna) Scidmore, Holcombe, Mrs. Barry (Karen)
Dorazio, Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs. Paul (Geraldine) Hein, Alexandria, Beverly
Untiedt, Chicago, Illinois, Patricia Untiedt, Palestine, Illinois and Mrs. Bill
(Cindy) Singstock, Wausau; a sister, Viola Untiedt, Abbotsford; 26 grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. The Rev. Raymond
Pedreti will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may
call at the Rux-Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby.
