Frantz, Estelle C. (8 August 1892 - 14 November 1981)

NEILLSVILLE -- Mrs. Estelle C. Frantz, 89, 104 Court St., Neillsville, died Saturday at Neillsville Memorial Home. Her husband, the late Benjamin H. Franz, served as clerk of court in Clark County for many years.

Services will be Tuesday at St. Mary's catholic Church, with the Rev. Joseph Henseler, pastor, officiating. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Gesche Funeral Home.

The former Estelle C. Bast was born August 8, 1892 in Marshfield to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Annamarie Salchert) Bast and received her education in Marshfield. The family later moved to Neillsville and she was married here June 30, 1913 to Benjamin H. Frantz. He died November 27, 1954. She had been residing at the Neillsville Memorial Home the past month.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Quentin, West Palm Beach, Florida, Miss Cordula Frantz, Neillsville, and Mrs. Kathleen Belaire, Marinette; three sons, Atty. Conrad J. Frantz, Fennimore, Joseph E Frantz, Fiskdale, Massachusetts, and Gordon W. Frantz, Cherry Valley, Illinois; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildre.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three brothers and a sister.
