Courtesy Auto Presents Check (Relay for Life - 2015)
Back on October 13, Courtesy Auto and Truck Center and a team of local
businesses sponsored a very special event where community members got a chance
to show their love and support for friends and family members whose lives have
been touched by cancer during their first annual Cancer Awareness Day.
Courtesy hosted a free-will donation luncheon, sold luminary bags, held a
raffle, and accepted donations from businesses and individuals during the
event—all funds collected going to the Clark County relay for Life. According to
Theresa Ludvigsen of Courtesy Auto—event chairperson—Cancer Awareness Day
participants managed to collectively donate a total of $651.79.
On Friday, October 30, 2015, Ludvigsen, as well as Austin Pogodzinski and Tyler
Brock—salesmen at Courtesy Auto—presented the check to Candy Podrovitz and Avis
Becker from the Clark County Relay for Life organization.
A special thank you goes out to the following businesses that helped sponsor the
annual Cancer Awareness Day event: Area Equipment, Country Floral, FairBridge
Inn & Suites, Thorp SuperValu, Thorp Equipment, Ministry Healthcare and
Yellowstone Computing.
