Riedel, Louis (26 January 1905 - 21 November 1981)

GRANTON - Louis Riedel, 76, Route 1, Granton, died Saturday at Neillsville Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Tuesday at Zion American Lutheran Church in the town of Grant, with the Rev. Maynard Stokka, pastor, officiating. Jay Parker will serve as organist.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Duane Anding, Elroy Krause, Harvey Johnson, Anton Vobora, Herman Moen, and Dennis Cournoyer. Friends may call at the Gilbertson Funeral Home.

Mr. Riedel was born January 26, 1905 in the town of Lynn, where he also received his education. He married the former Irma Wischulke November 17, 1934 in the town of Grant. She survives.

For 40 years he has worked in the lumber business with Walter Moldenhauer. He later worked for Vern's TV in Neillsville and also part-time for Kuehn Implement in Neillsville.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Wallace, Granton; four sisters, Mrs. Leona Moldenhauer and Mrs. Elsie Beilke, both of Granton, Mrs. Anita Kelly, Neillsville, and Mrs. Ralph (Selma) Heinze, Spencer, and a brother, Paul, Granton.

He was predeceased by two brothers.
