Joe Baskovec was born November 25, 1987 in Svet Kriz, Jugoslavia. He came to
America in 1904 settling in Chicago.
His wife was Frances Zell. They married about 1909. Joe Baskovec came to Willard
in 1933. They had three children, Joe Jr., Jenny and Frances. Joe Jr. married
Mary Kopack, Jenny married Stanley Pekol, and Frances married Tony Debevec.
Mr. Baskovec Sr. farmed about 31/i miles north of Willard where Julia Trybula
now lives.
