Frank Wildcat Behm, an Irishman and brother of Mary Barr, bought 80 acres of
land from Mr. Clute, a land- agent, about 1/4 mile east of the Celesnik farm
(now Ken Horn's Jr.).
Frank came from Iowa. An attraction to the passer-by was the painting of Plow
Boy Tobacco Girl he had on his barn.
He married Bertha Thorson. He started building a big house but his barn burned
down at this time, so he and his wife moved back to Iowa. The house foundation
is still standing.
Neighbors could often hear Frank singing and yodel- ing. He was a very happy
man. Frank, now deceased was the father of three children. His wife and two of
the children survive. They live in Edgewood, Iowa.
