Kolano, Ludwig (20 Jul 1910 - 25 November 1981)

NEILLSILLE -- Ludwig Kolano, 71, Route 4, Neillsville, died Wednesday at Neillsville Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Saturday at Gesche Funeral Home, with the Rev. Joseph N. Henseler, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, officiating. Mr. Kolano was born July 20, 1910 in Poland, where he received his education and later worked. He married the former Sabina Grazlak August 27, 1945 in Germany. She survives.

The couple lived in Germany until 1951, when they came to the United States. They resided in Wisconsin Rapids for two years before coming to rural Neillsville. He was first employed by Kurt Marg for several years and later by Nelson Muffler Corporation for many years, retiring in 1974.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Kasimir and Bernard, both of Neillsville, and John, Marshfield, and nine grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother.
